The work Horse and foal by John Skeaping was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2018. It achieved a price of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,902.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Skeaping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pine marten in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 77,500.00 (€ 87,974.03).

Die Arbeit Horse and foal von John Skeaping kam im Dezember 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.902,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Skeaping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pine marten im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 77.500,00 (€ 87.974,03).
