Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.451,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Rathbone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes Near Naples beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 15.010,40) versteigert wurde.
