The work "Auld Robin Gray" by John Prescott Knight was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in December 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,613.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Auld Robin Gray" is the most expensive artwork by John Prescott Knight that we have observed at auctions so far.
