Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Hidden Cottages by John Pawle. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 780.00 (€ 1,138.55). Other works by John Pawle have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 920.00 (€ 1,530.00) in March 2000 for the work Rue de la Paix.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hidden Cottages von John Pawle zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 780,00 (€ 1.138,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von John Pawle haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 920,00 (€ 1.530,00) im März 2000 für die Arbeit Rue de la Paix beobachtet.
