In the The House Sale auction, the work The Orchard Album: Eight Plates sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,883.17) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Nugent Fitch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Orchid Album: Eight Plates, which sold at auction in February 2002 for USD 5,640.00 (€ 6,514.21).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John Nugent Fitch erzielte im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit The Orchard Album: Eight Plates für USD 2.750,00 (€ 1.883,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Nugent Fitch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Orchid Album: Eight Plates beobachtet, die im Februar 2002 für USD 5.640,00 (€ 6.514,21) versteigert wurde.
