Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Summer scene from the West Coast of Sweden by John Jon-And for SEK 110,000.00 (€ 10,609.78). This price was achieved in the auction Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by John Jon-And have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 480,000.00 (€ 55,823.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Summer scene from the West Coast of Sweden von John Jon-And für SEK 110.000,00 (€ 10.609,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Jon-And auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 480.000,00 (€ 55.823,43).
