Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figures in a farmyard; and Figures conversing before a house by John Henry Mole was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2003. It achieved a price of GBP 493.50 (€ 714.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Admittedly, works by John Henry Mole have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two children with a dog, on a coastal path, Devon in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,308.74).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 493,50 (€ 714,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Henry Mole auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two children with a dog, on a coastal path, Devon im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.308,74).
