The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 52,875.00 (€ 90,378.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by John Henry Lorimer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2005 the work Autumn was auctioned for GBP 78,000.00 (€ 115,026.43).
