Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2002 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Eleanor Cross, Hardingstone, Northamptonshire by John Fulleylove. It changed hands for a price of GBP 763.75 (€ 1,213.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Fulleylove - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Virgin's fountain, Nazareth, which sold at auction in June 2004 for GBP 2,868.00 (€ 4,268.44).

Im September 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eleanor Cross, Hardingstone, Northamptonshire von John Fulleylove zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 763,75 (€ 1.213,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Fulleylove mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Virgin's fountain, Nazareth beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für GBP 2.868,00 (€ 4.268,44) versteigert wurde.
