A top price for John Frost - as previously expected
The work The Pool at Sundown by John Frost was sold in the California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in October 2020. The price achieved of USD 275,075.00 (€ 236,176.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Pool at Sundown is the most expensive artwork by John Frost that we have observed at auctions so far.
