Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ya Yo No Soy Yo - 1959 by John Franklin Koenig was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Franklin Koenig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ucello Bernardino - 1957, which sold at auction in April 2015 for EUR 6,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ya Yo No Soy Yo - 1959 von John Franklin Koenig wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Franklin Koenig mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ucello Bernardino - 1957 beobachtet, die im April 2015 für EUR 6.240,00 versteigert wurde.
