Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Pictures, which included the work Roses on a mossy bank by John Fitzmarshall. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,315.24). Other works by John Fitzmarshall have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,867.85) in September 2007 for the work Cherries on a branch; and Plums on a branch.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roses on a mossy bank von John Fitzmarshall zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.315,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von John Fitzmarshall haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.867,85) im September 2007 für die Arbeit Cherries on a branch; and Plums on a branch beobachtet.
