A top price for John Fischer - as previously expected
In July 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Line Of Lines by John Fischer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,686.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Line Of Lines is the most expensive artwork by John Fischer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Line Of Lines von John Fischer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.686,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
