Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Diamond District by John Charles Terelak was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,570.00 (€ 2,987.95), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Charles Terelak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fish Market, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,039.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Diamond District von John Charles Terelak wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 2.987,95) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von John Charles Terelak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fish Market beobachtet, die im September 2006 für USD 10.200,00 (€ 8.039,73) versteigert wurde.
