Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reading Her Bible by Johannes Weiland was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,589.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Johannes Weiland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The latest news in February 2001 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,125.19).

Die Arbeit Reading Her Bible von Johannes Weiland kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.589,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
