Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Vollevens I - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A market scene with two boys by a vegetable seller making lace, the St. Jorispoort in Dordrecht beyond, which sold at auction in May 2003 for EUR 14,340.00.
