In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work The Surprise sold for EUR 8,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Rosierse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The night market, which sold at auction in April 2010 for EUR 18,750.00.

Für andere Arbeiten von Johannes Rosierse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The night market beobachtet, die im April 2010 für EUR 18.750,00 versteigert wurde.
