A top price for Johannes Kuveenis - as previously expected
In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Apples, pears, a melon, a bucket with gherkins and a basket with grapes, peaches and artichokes, all on a wooden table with four lapwings by Johannes Kuveenis. The price achieved of EUR 17,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Apples, pears, a melon, a bucket with gherkins and a basket with grapes, peaches and artichokes, all on a wooden table with four lapwings is the most expensive artwork by Johannes Kuveenis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apples, pears, a melon, a bucket with gherkins and a basket with grapes, peaches and artichokes, all on a wooden table with four lapwings von Johannes Kuveenis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Apples, pears, a melon, a bucket with gherkins and a basket with grapes, peaches and artichokes, all on a wooden table with four lapwings das teuerste Kunstwerk von Johannes Kuveenis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
