Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kurt's Hand by Johannes Kahrs was sold in the First Open auction at Christies in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,853.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Kahrs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work O.T. (Schmerz) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,000.00 (€ 258,491.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kurt's Hand von Johannes Kahrs wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.853,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Kahrs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit O.T. (Schmerz) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.000,00 (€ 258.491,84).
