Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gezigt op Haarlem gezien van 't Spaarne: a view of Haarlem by Johannes Joseph Destrée was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Joseph Destrée - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the beach at sunset, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 10,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gezigt op Haarlem gezien van 't Spaarne: a view of Haarlem von Johannes Joseph Destrée kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Johannes Joseph Destrée mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit On the beach at sunset beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 10.800,00 versteigert wurde.
