This artwork by Johannes Handschin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2011. In the The Ski Sale auction, the work Silvaplana sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,924.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Handschin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Silvaplana, which sold at auction in January 2015 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 46,581.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johannes Handschin erzielte im Januar 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Ski Sale wurde die Arbeit Silvaplana für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.924,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johannes Handschin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Silvaplana beobachtet, die im Januar 2015 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 46.581,93) versteigert wurde.
