Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Johannes de Lagoor could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings auction, the work A Wooded Landscape With A Shepherd And His Flock By A Path changed hands for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,209.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes de Lagoor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A group of olive trees in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 254,500.00 (€ 321,004.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
