This artwork by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2006. In the Travel and Natural History auction, the work A collection of fruit and flower studies from, Phytanthoza iconographia sold for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,330.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phytanthoza iconographia, Regensberg, 1735-1745 in May last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,879.45).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Johann Wilhelm Weinmann erzielte im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Travel and Natural History wurde die Arbeit A collection of fruit and flower studies from, Phytanthoza iconographia für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.330,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00.
