Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in June 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century Paintings and Drawings auction, the work Vue De Paestum changed hands for EUR 8,125.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2007 by the work View Along The Southern Italian Coast at USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,694.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann konnte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Vue De Paestum für EUR 8.125,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2007 die Arbeit View Along The Southern Italian Coast mit USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.694,72).
