Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Neapel mit Vesuv, 1875 by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann was auctioned at Christies in Geneva in March 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 7,475.00 (€ 4,694.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Along The Southern Italian Coast, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,694.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Neapel mit Vesuv, 1875 von Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann kam im März 2000 bei Christies in Genf zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 7.475,00 (€ 4.694,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Along The Southern Italian Coast beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.694,72) versteigert wurde.
