Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Greek farmhand with her donkeys, goat and dog by Johann Nepomuk Rauch was sold in the Nineteenth Century European Art auction at Christies in London in November 2001. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,804.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Nepomuk Rauch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dix vues du domaine de la famille Galitzin de Kuzminki près de Moscou in September 2011 with an auction result of EUR 34,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Greek farmhand with her donkeys, goat and dog von Johann Nepomuk Rauch wurde im November 2001 in der Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.804,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Nepomuk Rauch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dix vues du domaine de la famille Galitzin de Kuzminki près de Moscou im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.600,00.
