Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,900.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Ludwig Ernst Morgenstern - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kircheninterieur, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 29,760.00.
