The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,750.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Julius Heinsius have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Girl, In A White Dress Holding A Pug Dog, With A Landscape Background in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,929.36).
