However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Jakob Hoch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stillleben mit Vogelnest und Eidechse, which sold at auction in May 2018 for EUR 7,500.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.608,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Jakob Hoch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stillleben mit Vogelnest und Eidechse beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert wurde.
