Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A pollarded willow with a shepherd and his flock by Johann Heinrich Roos was sold in the Master Drawings from the Oppé Collection auction at Christies in London in December 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,383.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Heinrich Roos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Huntsman Firing A Pistol In A Rocky Landscape in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 32,312.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A pollarded willow with a shepherd and his flock von Johann Heinrich Roos wurde im Dezember 2006 in der Auktion Master Drawings from the Oppé Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.383,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Heinrich Roos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Huntsman Firing A Pistol In A Rocky Landscape im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 32.312,66).
