Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three herdsmen in a landscape taming a bull by Johann Heinrich Roos was sold in the THE HOUSE SALE auction at Christies in New York in September 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,015.75 (€ 1,028.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Heinrich Roos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Huntsman Firing A Pistol In A Rocky Landscape in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 32,312.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three herdsmen in a landscape taming a bull von Johann Heinrich Roos wurde im September 2002 in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.015,75 (€ 1.028,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
