It achieved a price of USD 7,680.00 (€ 7,040.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Berthelsen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flatiron Building, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 28,800.00 (€ 21,534.32).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.680,00 (€ 7.040,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Berthelsen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flatiron Building beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 28.800,00 (€ 21.534,32) versteigert wurde.
