Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction 19C European Art, which included the work Figures on a country road by Johann Bernhard Klombeck. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 35,250.00 (€ 60,346.57). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Bernhard Klombeck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A wooded winter landscape with travellers on a snow covered path and skaters on the ice, which sold at auction in November 2011 for EUR 133,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19C European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures on a country road von Johann Bernhard Klombeck zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 35.250,00 (€ 60.346,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Bernhard Klombeck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A wooded winter landscape with travellers on a snow covered path and skaters on the ice beobachtet, die im November 2011 für EUR 133.000,00 versteigert wurde.
