Auction result fails to reach estimate
In December 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work "Scandinavia" by Jean-Baptiste Homann for SEK 2,200.00 (€ 214.44). This price was achieved in the auction Lilla Bukowskis S190 at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even lower than the SEK 2,500.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Homann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Planiglobii Terrestris cum utroq Hemisphaerio Caelesti in September 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,048.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Scandinavia" von Jean-Baptiste Homann für SEK 2.200,00 (€ 214,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Lilla Bukowskis S190 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von SEK 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Homann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Planiglobii Terrestris cum utroq Hemisphaerio Caelesti im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.048,12).
