Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Ships on the beach, Fanø by Johan Rohde. The price achieved of DKK 4,400.00 (€ 590.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Rohde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Interiør med børn”, which sold at auction in July this year for DKK 17,000.00 (€ 2,280.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ships on the beach, Fanø von Johan Rohde zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 4.400,00 (€ 590,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Rohde mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Interiør med børn” beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für DKK 17.000,00 (€ 2.280,04) versteigert wurde.
