Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “En gammel Grøndlandsfarer i Sydhavnen” by Johan Rohde for DKK 1,000.00 (€ 134.15). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Rohde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Interiør med børn” in July this year with an auction result of DKK 17,000.00 (€ 2,280.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “En gammel Grøndlandsfarer i Sydhavnen” von Johan Rohde für DKK 1.000,00 (€ 134,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Rohde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Interiør med børn” im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 17.000,00 (€ 2.280,04).
