Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunlit landscape with cows by Johan Krouthén was sold in the Important Winter Sale auction at Bukowski in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 5,846.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Johan Krouthén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Girl with umbrella in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 400,000.00 (€ 39,017.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunlit landscape with cows von Johan Krouthén wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 5.846,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Krouthén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Girl with umbrella im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 400.000,00 (€ 39.017,49).
