In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Onthechting by Johannes Hendrikus Moesman. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,140.00 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Hendrikus Moesman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Behoeftigen in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Onthechting von Johannes Hendrikus Moesman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.140,00 und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Hendrikus Moesman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Behoeftigen im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00.
