In June this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work Marstrand inlet by Johan Ericson. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,074.73), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Ericson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View from Marstrand, Albrektsunds canal, which sold at auction in December last year for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 8,516.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marstrand inlet von Johan Ericson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.074,73) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Ericson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View from Marstrand, Albrektsunds canal beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 8.516,08) versteigert wurde.
