Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm, which included the work Coastal scene from Marstrand by Johan Ericson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,839.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Ericson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View from Marstrand, Albrektsunds canal, which sold at auction in December last year for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 8,516.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coastal scene from Marstrand von Johan Ericson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.839,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Ericson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View from Marstrand, Albrektsunds canal beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 8.516,08) versteigert wurde.
