Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings, Part I, which included the work Venice, A View of The Grand Canal With The Rialto Bridge From The North by Johan Anton Richter. It changed hands for a price of USD 78,000 (€ 61,787) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000 - 80,000.
