This artwork by Joey Steigelman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2018. In the Close to Home: Christie's Staff Art Show auction, the work Light Box VI sold for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,509.14) - well above the upper estimate of USD 600.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joey Steigelman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dusk sold at auction in August 2019 with the realized price of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,275.00).

In der Auktion Close to Home: Christie's Staff Art Show wurde die Arbeit Light Box VI für USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.509,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 600,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Joey Steigelman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dusk im August 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.275,00).
