Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Christies in Paris held the auction Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain, which included the work Fond Mauve Et Noir by Joel Kermarrec. The price achieved of EUR 2,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joel Kermarrec - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fond Mauve Et Noir von Joel Kermarrec zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Joel Kermarrec mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 6.000,00 versteigert wurde.
