In October 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Bronze Disk by Joe Brainard. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,979.27), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Joe Brainard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Thirty Squares in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,231.29).

Im Oktober 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bronze Disk von Joe Brainard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 1.979,27) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joe Brainard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Thirty Squares im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.231,29).
