Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Journey Through A Landscape by Jock MacInnes was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,064.83), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jock MacInnes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,648.82) in May 2007 for the work Harbour at Sunset.
