Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Inside Outside by Jock MacInnes was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,550.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Jock MacInnes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Harbour at Sunset was auctioned for GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,648.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Inside Outside von Jock MacInnes kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.550,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jock MacInnes konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Harbour at Sunset für GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.648,82) versteigert.
