The work Church Interior by Job Adriaensz. Berckheyde was sold in the Old Masters Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2018. The result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,704.43) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Job Adriaensz. Berckheyde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The interior of the St. Bavokerk, Haarlem, looking south-west towards the choir screen, which sold at auction in April 2001 for GBP 108,250.00 (€ 174,512.56).
