Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting, which included the work Spanish Paisaje (Landscape) by Joaquim Sunyer. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,715.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joaquim Sunyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish mountains Near Sitges, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 91,647.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish Paisaje (Landscape) von Joaquim Sunyer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.715,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Joaquim Sunyer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish mountains Near Sitges beobachtet, die im November 2018 für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 91.647,53) versteigert wurde.
