Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Spanish still Life With Glassware by Joaquin Peinado. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,049.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joaquin Peinado have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bodegón in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish still Life With Glassware von Joaquin Peinado zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.049,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joaquin Peinado auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bodegón im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
