This artwork by Joaquin Peinado achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2008. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Spanish French Village sold for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,210.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joaquin Peinado - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bodegón, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 38,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joaquin Peinado erzielte im März 2008 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit Spanish French Village für GBP 13.700,00 (€ 17.210,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joaquin Peinado mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bodegón beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 38.400,00 versteigert wurde.
